Baby Eating Habits

In order to accomplish baby food and diet needs first and foremost decision is to feed them with breast milk or formula milk through bottle. Eating is one of sociable habits and pleasures of life that each human being possesses to live. Good eating habits start from mother’s womb. If mother eat sensibly having child in her lap, obviously eating of child will influence and he/she will grow healthy. Once baby is given his/her first food, he/she will feel unconsciously that eating is a pleasure and comfort of life. Feeding your babies is very crucial and sensitive part of your life and of course for your child as well.
Like an older sensible man, children also have different eating habits and timings of their eating are also influenced by this aspect. However there are no hard and fast rules for eating habits of babies at their early stage of life. Eating habits of babies can be considered by looking for following signs:
- Regaining birth weight after 2-3 weeks.
- Is urinating regularly?
- Having 2-3 soft bowl movements.
If your baby is taking breast milk, you should notice different aspects of feeding attitude of your baby like sucking pause or swallow. If feeding of your baby is out of 8-12 times per day, you must consult with pediatrician that your baby is gaining weight. Whenever your baby is drinking milk from bottle, it is easy to consider the amount of milk that he/she drinks. Often babies who are four weeks old tend to drink 5-6 ounces of formula milk while others still on drinking 3-4 ounces. An authorized research of American Academy of Pediatrics has claim that satisfactory feeding of baby is 3-4 ounce of formula milk.
You don’t need to take eating habits of your babies personally as they keep on changing sometimes for parents. Don’t worries eating habits of your babies will change gradually.
